EIDBT – May 30, 2011 – Chie the Hero

Ahh, it feels good to relax after rescuing Kanji.  Nevermind the fact that I was relaxing before…

So at lunch today, Yukiko, Yosuke, AND Chie all asked if I wanted to do something after school. Guess who I went out to train with.

Chie and I went to Souzai Daigaku after our training. Chie was raving to me about the steak skewers when a police officer showed up. Chie panicked a bit, but eventually the cop took a moment to tell us that there was a strain of bullying, even extortion in the area, and asked if we’d seen anyone suspicious. Of course, we hadn’t. When the cop left, Chie started to get really riled up. She’s got a strong sense of justice, that one. She eventually called them cowards, which I agreed with. Really, when people need to gang up on others to accomplish what they want, it’s really a sign of weakness. Chie wasn’t done.
“Mowing down villains and saving the weak, a lone female fighter stands… To protect the town’s peace, she throws herself into the battlefield, unbeknownst to all…! … Ooh, yeah! That sounds cool!” She paused for a moment and blushed. “Though I’d feel better about it if you helped… And it’d make me… kinda happy…” Oh yeah you know what that means! S-Rank up!
“‘Don’t think. Feel…’ right? Actually in this case, would it be, ‘Don’t think. Eat?'” Actually, that sums Chie up perfectly.

When I got home, I spent some time with Nanako. It was a good time, though once again, nothing really happened.
